In, ShapeDesigner, principally we use a non homogenous section (composite materials), after calculation we can view the transformed composite shape, by choosing a material of references, and ShapeDesigner shows graphically the transformed section and the corresponding geometric properties, it gives you also the stress distribution in the transformed section in additional to the stress distribution in the original section.  See example in chapter 6.
